The astute among you will notice the the mounted officer was raised from the ranks without time to change his uniform i.e. just a stand-in.

The next consideration (and most important to me) was how the bases would look when in play. Might & Reason uses two formations: March Formation(MF), one base behind another and Fighting Formation(FF), bases side by side. This means that any formation I use must be symetrical if it is to look uniform when in both formations.
Here are some pictures of the various options I looked at; showing veiws from the front and above in both formations.
This formation looks fine, in line but only if using a single brigade. I like having the officer on the end of the line and the drummer and flag centralised.
Again, good in line as a single brigade.
I like the look of this "in line".
I don't like the possitioning of the flags.
This is one of my two favourites (with the next formation), it's symetrical, looks good in FF and MF.
This benefits from a couple of less miniatures, it looks good in MF but I'm too sure about FF, the middle of the line (drummer next to officer) looks a bit 'off'. For these reasons I think I will go with the previous formation.

These pictures don't do the miniatures justice (they were done on my mobile); but the first think that hit me was the detail and quality of the casting (these have only had some flash removed from the bases). I was even more impressed when I started to paint them and found them a joy to paint (a rare occurrence for someone so fussy about there miniatures). Here are some painted pics (based for DBx).
I need to improve on my mobile phone camera abilities I know, or maybe use the 'proper' camera; but I hope to provide some better pics on the blog.
So they look good, paint well, the price is right, the only potential problem I saw was those half pound bags of miniatures. I like to choose my lead, not make do. But Mr Pengilly (of Pendraken) has pulled through on this problem and agreed to my request for specifics. So all I need to do now is create a list of my 'specifics' and place the order. This will depend on the battle I will choose to fight, which in turn will depend on the rulebook. This I am pleased to say is on order and the payment was sent by post yesterday; so watch this space.
